How do I make Egg Roll in a Bowl?

You don’t need many ingredients to make this delicious dinner dish. All you need is chopped meat, cabbage, carrots, ginger, green onions, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and coconut aminos.

First, you’ll brown the meat, then remove it from the skillet.

Next, add in the cabbage, carrots, and seasonings, and cook until the cabbage has wilted (it should take around 5 minutes.)

Add the chopped meat back to the skillet to mix it with the rest of the flavors, and you’re done!

Easy, healthy dinner in under twenty minutes! That’s a win in my book!

  • 1 1/4 lbs chopped meat
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 medium carrot, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos or tamari

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add chopped meat and cook, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks and browns. Once browned, remove the meat from the skillet.
  2. Return skillet to heat. Add water, cabbage, carrots, garlic powder, sesame oil, ginger, and green onions. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook, stirring frequently, until cabbage wilts, around 5 minutes.
  3. Add rice vinegar and coconut aminos, and return chopped meat to the pan. Cook until heated through.
  4. Serve garnished with toasted sesame seeds, if desired.
